Parenting Education and Support
Since its inception in 1984, the Parenting Education program has been committed to strengthening and empowering families by offering education and support to facilitate the development of safe, nurturing family environments.
Ready or Not? Teen Pregnancy Prevention
Developed in 1995, the Ready or Not? Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program focuses on teen pregnancy prevention and ‘why’ not to get pregnant instead of ‘how’ not to get pregnant—filling a gap in teen education. The two-week curriculum is centered around students’ experiences in ‘parenting’ an infant simulator for a long weekend.
An elementary school-based abuse prevention program for children kindergarten through fifth grade. SafeTouch was first introduced in 1987. Last year almost 12,000 children in 31 Weld County elementary schools were served.
Visitation and Safe Exchanges
This is a supervised visitation and exchange program run out of our Evans office. This program provides a safe and nurturing environment for families and children that allows them to maintain positive family interactions.
