Volunteers Welcomed – Come to Play and Learn!
Volunteers are ALWAYS welcomed to assist staff at Lutheran Family Services' Fort Collins office with children's play groups (children ages 2-12, depending on group). The children's component is part of a therapeutic family curriculum, designed as parallel learning to the nationally acclaimed Nurturing Parenting Program. Skills including social development, self esteem, and anger management are taught through the utilization of craft projects, games, puppets, storybooks, and songs. For more information, contact Betsy Baier, Program Director at Lutheran Family Services – ffs@lfsco.org or 970 232-1163.
