We have been serving birth and adoptive families since 1948 and are proud to be the first agency to implement and practice open adoption in Colorado.
LFS provides counseling, education, and support to families and individuals who reside in Colorado and are involved or interested in adoption. Our professional staff is committed to families and children, and our goal is to be of assistance as you make decisions surrounding your adoption plan.
In addition to our domestic adoption program, LFS has offered International adoption direct services since 1995. We also provide Designated/Kinship adoption services.

Making a decision about an unintended pregnancy is probably the most difficult decision you will ever make. Trying to figure out everything by yourself can be overwhelming. You don't have to go through this alone. We are here to help you.
You can talk to an experienced, professional counselor who will be by your side to help sort out your thoughts and to provide the information you need to make an informed decision. We will help to explore your feelings about the pregnancy, tell significant others and examine your options. Ultimately, we hope that you will feel educated on all of your options, and comfortable and confident in the decision that you feel is best for you and your child.
Your counselor is always available to meet with you in the office, the community or at your home. Referral services and pregnancy related financial assistance may also be available.
