Throughout the year we at Lutheran Family Services are inspired by the ‘light of the season’ as we extend our hands to help vulnerable children and families in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
The holiday season offers a time to pause and reflect, and brings into focus the reasons behind the work that we are privileged to do and our continuing dedication to serving in response to dramatic human need.
In the following pages you will find brief glimpses into the lives of our clients and the ways, big and small, that LFS has helped bring ‘light’ to the dark places in their lives.
We hope these stories will inspire you to reflect on your own blessings this holiday season, that you might become a blessing to others.
“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine; let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!”
Harry Dixon Loes / 1920
We humbly ask that you remember LFS and the work that we do throughout the year in partnership with thousands of compassionate people and organizations, and consider sharing the ‘light of the season’ through a donation to help support the programs and services
of LFS.
